The new mural — a colorful narrative about unity, strength, and hope for the future of our community.
A group of twenty teenagers from the Dimer community participated in the Dive in ESTEAM camp.
The idea behind the mural is entirely theirs. The kids crafted the concept themselves and brought it to life alongside artists from the international art community Artolution.
Mentors Daria Prokopchuk and Kata Rudakova guided the teens in developing sketches and translating them into a large mural on one of the community's buildings.
This mural is not just a piece of art but also a form of therapy. The teenagers, who have faced difficult times, found a way to express their experiences through art.
Thanks to support from Snap, the mural comes to life. Scan the QR code in the bottom corner of the image using Snapchat — and the artwork transforms into augmented reality. To see it, visit Fastov Street, 5 in Demydiv.
The mural's unveiling marked the culmination of a 12-day camp where creativity merged with technology, and dreams became reality. It featured everything: excursions, burgers, and workshops on careers. But most importantly — it fostered an understanding that the future is a blend of creativity and technological advancements.
The Dive in ESTEAM camp was a true explosion of inspiration. Here, teenagers learned about professions that are not yet in school programs but will definitely be relevant in the future.
Together with specialists from Snap, they created AR filters, experimented with cosmetics with the «Alliance of Beauty» team, and even wrote a fun song about a bug and hot dogs with creative Ivan Tokar from Havas Village Ukraine, discovering how the creative industry operates.
Engaging meetings, education, and mural creation — all were a collaborative effort by the GoGlobal foundation and partners: Snap, the Dimer community, and the international art community Artolution.
