In July, Ukrzaliznytsia is continuing its vital humanitarian mission by evacuating residents from perilous regions. Since the beginning of the month, 417 individuals have been transported to safety. Among them are women, children, families with infants, and individuals with reduced mobility, as reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Evacuation trains have been operating on the following routes:

  • Zaporizhzhia — Lviv: 100 passengers;
  • Pavlohrad — Lviv: 146 passengers;
  • Kharkiv — Sumy — Uzhhorod: 21 passenger;
  • Kherson — Lviv: 85 passengers;
  • Shostka — Kyiv: 65 passengers.

All evacuees arrived in the western regions, where they were welcomed by local government representatives, volunteers, and humanitarian organizations. People were swiftly accommodated in safe locations.

Railway workers are paying special attention to individuals with limited mobility. Recently, 11 such passengers departed from Dnipro to Khmelnytskyi, and another 14 were transported to Rivne.

Moreover, in recent days, four families from the Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka communities were evacuated to Transcarpathia, including 10 children. All of them received shelter in comfortable conditions.

Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that the company is working daily to ensure that Ukrainians can reach safe places on time. Conductors, drivers, dispatchers, volunteers, and partners are all involved in the evacuation process.
