The text of the address was released by the Office of the President.

Dear Ukrainians!

On this fifteenth of July, we celebrate a momentous day – Statehood Day.

This day signifies our past, present, and future. It represents unity that binds us all, regardless of generations.

Our history is a bridge built on the foundations of our identity: Ukrainians have always been here, are here now, and will remain here.

And on this land, kindness, justice, and humanity always prevail. The best in us is our ability to support one another in times of hardship.

We all have our stories, intertwined into one grand narrative. These are tales of our lives, our struggles, and our hopes for a better tomorrow.

Each night brings new challenges, yet we stand united. We cherish every joyous moment, even amidst darkness.

When parents strive to entertain their children, our spirit remains unbroken. We know that together we are stronger.

In these trying times, we continue to fight for our country, our values, and our future.

We see life going on, despite all adversities. Cafes are open, transport is running, and we support one another.

Our strength lies in unity, in our ability to be together even when times are tough.

Today, we celebrate our identity, our resilience, and our unwavering spirit.

Happy Statehood Day, dear compatriots!

Glory to Ukraine!
