Volodymyr Zelensky promised that details would be revealed in the near future. Specifics have yet to be disclosed. "We need to give new momentum to the work of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and enhance our diplomatic efforts, particularly with the United States," Zelensky stated in his evening address on July 12.

Sybiga Announces Reforms in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

This week, a new structure was introduced in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. According to Minister Andriy Sybiga, this structure aligns with the realities of war and best diplomatic practices worldwide. Specifically, the disarmament department will be dissolved, and a Department of International Security and Defense of Ukraine will be established. The US and Canada office will be separated from the Latin America and Caribbean Department, as it is a distinct area of work. A special representative will focus exclusively on African issues. The Middle East and North Africa (MENA region) will be assigned to a separate department.
