The Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has invested $3.74 million in Tencore, a Ukrainian robotics company. Tencore is particularly known for its multifunctional robotic complex, TerMIT. This was announced in a press release from MITS Capital.

The deal was announced during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome. The investment was structured through the legal framework of "Diia.City" directly into the Ukrainian entity Tencore.

"MITS Capital proudly signs the first contract between an American investor and a Ukrainian company in defense technologies through "Diia.City", " said MITS Capital CEO and Founding Partner Perry Boyle.

MITS Capital noted that this agreement creates a legal pathway for international investors to make direct investments in Ukraine without the need for workaround solutions.

"Since the beginning of 2025, the legal framework "Diia.City" has actively expanded into the DefenseTech sector and currently includes over 300 defense resident companies," the statement said.

According to MITS Capital, Article 29 of the Law of Ukraine on "Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine" contains provisions that allow creating loan agreements with an alternative performance of obligations. Additional protection for the parties is provided by contractual agreements on the applicable law with designated countries for arbitration or courts whose decisions are automatically recognized in Ukraine.

"This mechanism makes investments in Ukrainian legal entities as reliable as those in traditional venture business C-Corps in Delaware or E-Residency companies in Estonia," emphasized CIO and Founding Partner MITS Capital Denis Hurak.

MITS Capital, founded in 2024, is an investment group with offices in Kyiv and New York, focusing on investments in Ukrainian defense technology innovations. As of July 2025, MITS Capital's portfolio includes 11 companies.

Tencore is a Ukrainian developer and supplier of robotic platforms, with a team of over 200 professionals. The TerMIT development features a modular architecture that adapts to various tasks. The platform can be utilized for logistics, evacuation missions, engineering operations, including mining and demining, as well as providing fire support to units on the front line.

Additionally, in June it was announced that the Ukrainian communication system manufacturer Himera Radios and Tencore would collaborate on creating stable and secure communication for ground robotic complexes.
