A serious incident occurred in Romania when a bus carrying 60 Ukrainians collided with a minibus, leading to one fatality.

The accident took place in the morning of June 30 on the DN2 highway in Bacau County, in the northeastern part of the country. The bus, which had 60 Ukrainian citizens on board, including 21 children, crashed into a minibus that was parked on the roadside.

According to Bacau police, a 29-year-old woman from Romania, who was a passenger in the minibus, was killed in the accident. Four others from the minibus were injured and hospitalized in serious condition. One person from the bus was also hospitalized, while six others, including two children, received assistance at the scene.

The nationality of the 40-year-old bus driver has not been disclosed, only mentioned that he is not a Romanian citizen. A breathalyzer test returned negative results.
