Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has initiated measures to protect businesses from excessive governmental scrutiny.

He made this announcement during the "Power and Business Forum: from Dialogue to Partnership" held in Kyiv, according to "Interfax-Ukraine".

"I have instructed to prepare proposals for a long-term moratorium on business inspections to shield them from pressure by unscrupulous individuals at various levels", - emphasized Zelensky.

"We are continuing the work of the "State - Business" council and plan to expand its composition. I urge everyone involved to be as active as possible in our endeavors", - he added.

According to Ukrinform, the President is convinced that Ukraine needs to create conditions for economic growth that include clear regulatory frameworks.

"We can significantly strengthen Ukraine's economy by realizing more ideas and talents from entrepreneurs. To achieve this, we need conditions that ensure clear frameworks for state intervention, minimal regulation, and active lobbying for Ukrainian business interests on the global stage", - concluded Zelensky.
