The Ukrainian Armed Forces are forming the first all-female crew specializing in intercepting Russian drones. This crew will be part of the 427th Separate Drone Systems Regiment "Rarog".
This was announced on the regiment's official page.
"Do you want to contribute to the army? Ready to undergo selection and extensive training? Join our UAV interception team, where you will serve alongside like-minded sisters!" the message states.
The responsibilities of the drone interceptors will include:
- detection and destruction of aerial threats;
- maintenance and readiness of assigned weaponry;
- execution of combat missions as part of a unit;
- thorough mastery of the chosen specialty;
- participation in drills and combat actions;
- adherence to military discipline.
The regiment offers logistical, nutritional, and medical support, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
The job description emphasizes that everything will be taught, and the only requirement from candidates is a willingness to serve.
