The Parliament approved a new bill on June 17 concerning the establishment of a Unified State Registry for military personnel.

"This is an important step toward building an efficient and modern system of record-keeping and service provision for our military."

The registry will serve as a digital platform that enables: faster and more accurate data collection on personnel; automatic analytics generation regarding reserves; and a reduction in bureaucratic processes and human error," stated Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

A key innovation is the Military ID, a digital identifier that will facilitate secure data exchange between registries.

According to Umerov, in the future, military personnel will be able to access social services, benefits, and bonuses online, including through the Army+ application.
