In honor of World Blood Donor Day, "Ukrposhta" has released a unique stamp titled "Chance for Life" to celebrate blood donors, medical staff, and volunteers.

"Together with the DonorUA project, we want to convey: you are the ones who help hearts keep beating", – stated the company's press service.

Ukrposhta noted that within the first week of the full-scale invasion, 25,000 new donors joined the DonorUA platform, and since 2022, the base has grown fivefold to 200,000.

"As we enter the third year of the large-scale war, when every drop can change a fate, the need for donors remains high. Blood saves wounded soldiers, civilians affected by shelling, mothers with complications, cancer patients, and those with severe burns and complex surgeries. Sometimes it’s the only hope", – added the company.

The new stamp "Chance for Life" is regarded as a symbol of "the drop that becomes an ocean and kindness that turns into a chance".

"This is our gratitude and an important reminder: your drop of blood is someone’s future. If you are willing and healthy – join us! Becoming a donor is simple, and it gives a chance for life", – said the CEO of "Ukrposhta" Ihor Smiliansky.

The stamp features a couple holding a heart and filling it with blood. The illustration was created by Ukrainian artist Liza Markina.

"The shortage of donor blood existed in Ukraine even before the full-scale war, but today this issue is more pressing than ever. Despite all the advancements in medicine, there are still no full substitutes for blood. Only we can share it with those in need", – emphasized DonorUA co-founder Iryna Slavinska.

The print run of the new stamp is 150,000 copies, the "First Day" envelopes total 20,000 pieces, and the presentation folders number 500.

"Chance for Life" can be purchased at "Ukrposhta" branches and on the company’s website.
