The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed a new decree imposing sanctions against the owner of the Russian casino Pin-Up, Dmitry Punin, and his business associates.
The decree outlines the reasons for these restrictions.
The sanctions target the casino's founder, Russian citizen Dmitry Punin, as well as other individuals, including Ivan Bannikov and Alexander Matyashov, and companies such as UKR GAME TECHNOLOGIES, TRANITADEVELOPMENT, and TURBO.UA. According to Interfax Ukraine, these companies are connected to Pin-Up.
In January, law enforcement detained Igor Zotyka, who operated a company under the brand of online casino PIN-UP in Ukraine. He is considered a nominal owner.
DBR data indicates that the true owners of the PIN-UP brand are Russians who obtained a license for organizing online gambling.
The investigation revealed that Zotyka lacked legal sources to contribute 30 million UAH to the authorized capital of the licensed entity.
According to YouControl, he is the founder and beneficiary of LLC "Ukr Game Technology" and LLC "FC "Unified Space". The latter was responsible for processing payments in the "Diia" app and received a commission for this, but recently the app fully replaced Zotyka's company with the state-owned "Ukrgasbank".
