Ukraine's transport infrastructure has suffered losses exceeding 36 billion dollars, with recovery needs surpassing 77 billion dollars.

This information was presented by representatives of the Ukrainian delegation at the International Transport Forum in Leipzig, as reported by CTS.

“This is already the fourth year where, even amidst a full-scale war, we are talking about recovery. Not just about survival — but about progress,” emphasized Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Serhiy Derkach.

During the ministerial meeting within the forum, discussions focused on transportation projects and the mechanism for operating a special fund for implementing future initiatives. More than 30 countries and international organizations joined the meeting.

Derkach stated that our country already has two projects developed under the International Transport Forum. However, the Ukrainian delegation is working to increase that number.
