In July, the Security Service of Ukraine detained an employee of the Central Office of NABU, who was part of a vast agent network working for the enemy. Alongside this individual, three others associated with the network were previously exposed.

According to the SBU, all agents had a high level of training in concealment techniques and had access to state secrets. The network's operations were coordinated by Igor Yegorov, an FSB officer, who began forming it back in 2009.

Among those detained was Major General Valery Shaitanov of the SBU, who attempted to organize terrorist acts in Ukraine under Yegorov's directives. Another figure in the case is Dmitry Ivantsov, a former bodyguard of Yanukovych, who collaborated with the occupiers.

The judicial investigation is ongoing, and it has been established that Ivantsov coordinates the activities of other agents in Ukraine.

The NABU employee faces charges of treason and other crimes. He has been detained and could face up to 15 years in prison.
