A traffic incident took place in the streets of Pereyaslav.
Authorities preliminarily determined that a 24-year-old driver of a Ford failed to ensure safety while maneuvering and collided with a vehicle, an Opel, driven by a 32-year-old local resident. The impact caused the Opel to ignite.
The driver of the Opel Astra sustained injuries and was transported to a medical facility for necessary treatment. 
Investigators from the Boryspil district police department in Kyiv region initiated a criminal proceeding regarding the violation of traffic safety rules, leading to bodily harm (part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation is ongoing.
