In Kyiv, a party held during a national day of mourning has sparked outrage. The Kyiv police have initiated criminal proceedings after discovering a video showing a social event taking place in the Holosiivskyi district. This occurred on a day when the nation mourned 31 victims, including five children.
Law enforcement quickly responded to the situation, arriving at the scene. Due to the locked doors of the club and the staff's refusal to open them, the police conducted a search, revealing over 30 attendees inside.
All individuals present were taken to the local police station, where administrative protocols were drawn up under articles 173 and 185 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Offenders face fines or up to 15 days of administrative detention.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident under Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning hooliganism. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
