On Wednesday, July 30, a tragic car accident happened near the village of Lebedivka. The driver of a Toyota Camry lost control of the vehicle, veering off the road and crashing into a tree.

This was reported by the Kyiv region police.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident, which resulted in the death of a 62-year-old driver. He was not alone in the car; his 57-year-old passenger sustained injuries and received necessary medical assistance.

Investigators have initiated proceedings under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code – violation of traffic safety rules by the driver, leading to fatal consequences. However, it is likely that the case will be closed due to the driver's death.

The Kyiv region police once again urges drivers to be cautious behind the wheel, consider road conditions, avoid speeding, and not endanger themselves and others.
