The Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another FSB agent who aided in the shelling of Kharkiv.

Cyber specialists from the SBU discovered another informant who was coordinating Russian missile strikes on the city.

The main task of the suspect was to identify and relay coordinates of mobile artillery units and air defense systems protecting the city.
They aimed to eliminate air defenses to focus their attacks on civilian infrastructure.
An investigation revealed that a 42-year-old local stroller salesman caught the attention of the FSB for posting anti-Ukrainian comments on social media.
To adjust the strikes, the informant would step onto his balcony during air raid alerts and observe the work of the air defense.
From his “observation point,” he marked targets on maps and communicated coordinates via anonymous chats.
The occupiers planned to use missiles and heavy guided bombs to hit military targets.

The SBU timely uncovered the enemy informant and arrested him at his residence. Comprehensive measures were also undertaken to secure military locations.

During a search of the suspect's home, a phone was seized containing evidence of his contacts with the occupiers.

Investigators informed him of the charges under Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The perpetrator is in custody and faces up to 8 years in prison. The operations were conducted by SBU officers in the Kharkiv region under the supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
