The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has uncovered another informant collaborating with Russian special services to orchestrate a missile strike on the Kharkiv administration.

The suspect was planning a new assault on one of the locations belonging to the city council. He believed that Ukrainian military personnel might be nearby, thus relaying this information to the invaders.

According to case materials, the arrested individual is a 45-year-old local unemployed resident. The occupiers recruited him through social media, where he left pro-Russian comments.

His tasks involved patrolling the area around administrative buildings to check for military equipment and potential presence of Defense Forces units.

He maintained contact with Russian agents through a chatbot operated by Sergey Lebedev (known by the alias "Lohmaty"), who is hiding in Donetsk and works for the occupiers.

The SBU documented the suspect's activities and apprehended him at his residence.

The investigators of the Security Service have charged the detainee under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

 Part 2 of Article 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
 Part 2 of Article 436-2 (justification of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine).

The suspect is currently in custody without the right to bail and faces up to 8 years in prison with property confiscation.

The operations were conducted by SBU employees in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
