The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police are conducting security operations in the central part of Kyiv.
The primary aim of these operations is to evaluate the level of anti-terrorism protection in crowded places.
During the operations, law enforcement agencies:
- inspect the area and specific buildings (residential premises, offices, public places, etc.) to identify prohibited items;
- check the identities of individuals present in the area;
- assess the anti-terrorism security of local structures.
The operations will be conducted in accordance with the legal regime of martial law.
During these operations, there may be restrictions on movement, document checks, and vehicle inspections on the streets.
The SBU urges citizens to understand potential inconveniences and to comply with law enforcement demands.
It is also advised to carry identification documents and adhere to curfew regulations.
We emphasize that the Security Service operates in accordance with the principles of legality and the protection of citizens' rights and freedoms.
