Ukrainian authorities arrested two individuals who detonated a prosecutor's car on June 6 in Dnipro.

The agents are two men, aged 30 and 50, who were recruited by Russia through Telegram channels.

Initially, they tracked the prosecutor's route and then planted an explosive device near his vehicle.

After activating the bomb, they also set up a remote monitoring device. The driver heard a suspicious noise and managed to exit the vehicle.

Authorities found a mobile phone that was used to remotely control the explosion.

According to officials: "It has been established that they are connected to the explosion under the prosecutor's car. As a result of this act, the prosecutor sustained minor injuries, and his vehicle was completely destroyed."

Doctors confirmed that the prosecutor's life is not in danger.

To investigate the crime, surveillance footage was reviewed, and the suspects' route was traced.

Both detainees are cooperating with the investigation. They have been charged under Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - a terrorist act committed by a group of individuals.

The detainees face up to 12 years in prison.
