A football tournament took place in the capital of Ukraine, dedicated to the memory of the fallen activist and soldier of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, Pavel Petrychenko.

Sixteen teams participated in the competition, raising 900,000 hryvnias for the needs of the UAV company of the "Predators of the Heights" battalion.

Among the participants was Sergey Prytula, whose charitable foundation Pavel worked for before the full-scale war.

The audience contribution was set at 250 hryvnias, while the entry fee for participants was 1000 hryvnias.

Pavel Petrychenko was born in Kyiv and actively participated in the Euromaidan protests. Later, he worked in Sergey Prytula's charity fund. Since 2022, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in aerial reconnaissance and was killed on April 15, 2024, during a combat mission in Avdiivka.

In early March, a charity auction featuring stars of Ukrainian sports was also held to raise funds for the 12th Special Operations Brigade "Azov".
