On April 1, Annalena Baerbock, the outgoing German Foreign Minister, arrived in Ukraine for her 11th visit, potentially her last in office.

The German Foreign Ministry reported this, as noted by "European Pravda".

At the train station, she was greeted by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and the German ambassador to Kyiv, Martin Jäger.

Upon arrival, Baerbock announced that Germany would provide an additional 130 million euros for humanitarian aid and stabilization efforts, according to the Foreign Ministry.

"Given the deadlock in the relations between the US and Russia, it is absolutely essential that we demonstrate that we... stand with Ukraine and support it now more than ever," commented the head of German diplomacy during her visit.

In Kyiv, Baerbock is set to meet with politicians and civil society representatives, as stated by the Foreign Ministry. Discussions will also address the steps Ukraine is taking toward EU membership.

At the end of March, Baerbock announced that Germany would soon deliver new batches of weapons to enable Ukraine to defend itself against renewed Russian attacks.

Earlier, Baerbock welcomed the Bundestag's budget committee decision to allocate 3 billion euros in additional military aid to Ukraine in 2025.
