On November 29, Kyiv will kick off a new season of the beloved project — Winter Wonderland at the National Complex «Expocenter of Ukraine». The VDNG team invites everyone to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit, even though autumn is still in the air.

This year, guests will be greeted by a vast light photo zone and an alley adorned with glowing Christmas trees, creating a «light passage» into a magical realm. Nearby, the scents of cinnamon and mulled wine will fill the air, accompanied by festive melodies, snowman flash mobs, and, of course, the main Christmas tree.

The ice rink this year is set to become the largest in Ukraine, covering over 3000 m². It will be the center of winter adventures, featuring a fairy-tale clock tower in the middle of the ice arena and a Christmas train that will be one of the main photo spots of the season. Another magical clock counting down to the festivities will be placed at the central pavilion.

Santa's residence will move to Pavilion No. 1, where it will be even larger and ready to welcome visitors. Guests can expect enchanting decorations, a mailbox for holiday wishes, and Santa with his elf helpers. Nearby, the «Christmas Dream Factory» will come to life, where elves will assist in creating Christmas ornaments and fulfilling secret wishes.

This year, a new area will feature snow regardless of the weather outside. Visitors can build snowmen, create snow angels, and engage in snowball fights. Snowy decorations will also adorn the rooftops of pavilions, ensuring a magical atmosphere no matter the weather.

The Illuminarium light installation park, a favorite from last winter, will return to the location of the «V’yava» art space, promising hundreds of bright photo opportunities for memories and social media. New thematic photo zones will also appear in the «Greenhouse of Charms». The «Shumiland» will join the winter season, inviting visitors into a whimsical world of dinosaurs and magical creatures.

As usual, the central square of VDNG will host winter attractions — a slide, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and extreme rides. Nearby, a Christmas market will unfold, featuring mulled wine, treats, grilled dishes, and handcrafted souvenirs. Additionally, a Warm Alley with a food court, festive melodies, and live performances on weekends will be set up. Throughout the winter season, the Northern Express will travel through VDNG with an audio tour, spreading holiday cheer.

Overall, the Winter Wonderland will operate daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, featuring around 20 themed locations with warm resting areas. In case of power outages, all zones at VDNG will run on their generators, and the paths will be illuminated with energy-efficient LED lighting.
