Today, August 15, starting from 11:00 and throughout the weekend, traffic on the bridge over the Desenka River will be organized in two lanes in each direction. This has been reported by the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City Administration.

Starting Monday, August 18, the reverse traffic pattern will be as follows:

• in the morning, 3 lanes will be open from the left bank to the right, with 1 lane in the opposite direction;
• approximately from 14:00, 3 lanes will be directed to the left bank, and 1 lane to the right;
• on weekends, there will be 2 lanes in each direction.

The Department indicates that the changes in the schedule are linked to the analysis of passenger flow on Fridays and the need for traffic optimization.

Drivers are urged to pay close attention to traffic signs and plan their trips according to the updated schedule.

The Kyiv City Road Administration reminds that the bridge over the Desenka was built in 1974, with the last major renovation occurring in 2005.

For safe operation, specialists from the municipal enterprise regularly carry out necessary maintenance work.

In particular, from 2022 to 2024, the entire roadway from the right bank to the left bank was repaired, and partially in the opposite direction.
