A series of sailing training sessions for veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war is launching in Kyiv.

This initiative is organized by Kyiv Military Hub in collaboration with the Kyiv City Cruising Yacht Club.

The first outing on the water is scheduled for August 14 at 11:00 AM.

Training will take place in a designated area of the Dnieper River, in groups of 5–6 individuals. Participation is free and exclusively available for combat veterans and individuals with war-related disabilities.

Sessions will occur every Tuesday and Thursday, with the meeting location communicated individually after registration.

A registration form is available via the link.

Organizers note that spots are limited. Failure to attend without prior notice may restrict participation in future events.

This project aims to support the physical and psychological rehabilitation of veterans, as well as their social adaptation through active engagement in sports.
