Today, August 8th, a new cultural and educational project has been launched at the KP "Kyiv Metro" that highlights the relationship between the city's underground transport and Igor Sikorsky KPI. This was reported by the municipal enterprise.
Until August 31st, at the "Polytechnic Institute" station, visitors can view posters showcasing the contributions of KPI graduates and scholars to the city's development and its transportation infrastructure, particularly the metro. The project emphasizes that the station's name is not just a marker on the map, but a part of the shared history between the university and the city.
According to the municipal enterprise, nearly 300 KPI graduates are currently employed in the Kyiv metro. These specialists from various fields ensure the daily operations of the underground: transporting passengers, maintaining technical systems, and ensuring safety and stability of the metro's operations.
