From July 7 to 9, Kyiv will experience an exceptional level of fire danger. This was announced by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The Kyiv City State Administration urges residents and visitors to the capital to exercise caution while enjoying nature, avoid lighting fires in unsuitable places, refrain from using faulty electrical equipment, and adhere to fire safety rules.
Authorities also remind about the prohibition of visiting forests and park areas during martial law, whether on foot or by vehicle. This decision by the Kyiv Defense Council remains in effect.
It is emphasized that there is a strict ban on burning dry grass across Ukraine, with administrative liability for violations resulting in fines:
for individuals — from 6,120 to 12,240 UAH;
for officials — from 21,420 to 30,600 UAH.
Moreover, according to Article 152 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine, a fine of 340 to 1,360 UAH is imposed for lighting fires in unauthorized places.
As a reminder, the patrol police announced traffic restrictions in Kyiv due to the heat.
