The water quality is compliant at nine beaches in the capital.

Health monitoring laboratories regularly assess the quality of water in recreational areas utilized for swimming.

According to the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as of July 4, the water meets quality standards at the following beaches in Kyiv:

• «Predmistsna Slobidka» and «Central» on the Dnipro River,
• in the Dnipro district at the beaches «Venice», «Rainbow», «Children's», «Golden», «Youth» on the Dnipro River and «Telbin»;
• in the Obolon district — «Pushcha-Vodytsia» on lines 5-7.

The Kyiv City Center for Disease Control has also released a list of beaches where water quality is either compliant or non-compliant with standards.

Meanwhile, the beach season in Kyiv has not yet officially commenced.
