One boy found himself underwater, while two others rushed to help him.

As summer days arrive, when city dwellers flock to beaches, the municipal service «Pleso» once again reminds everyone about the necessity of strict adherence to water safety rules.

Yesterday, rescuers recorded a serious incident that fortunately ended without tragic outcomes due to prompt actions.

Three young swimmers were playing in the water without adult supervision. One of the boys suddenly found himself in deep water and began to drown. The other two, trying to save their friend, ended up swallowing water and sinking.

Thanks to the professional and swift actions of lifeguard Maxim Boyko, a tragedy was averted.

He promptly pulled all three boys from the water, had a discussion with them, and ensured they could relax peacefully on the shore. There was no need to call the police or an ambulance, as the incident concluded successfully.

The lifeguards of «Pleso» remind everyone of water safety rules:

• Never leave children unattended!
• Choose designated beaches with lifeguards.
• Assess your abilities.
• Do not swim beyond the buoys.
• Avoid dangerous games. Steer clear of pushing, imitating drowning, and other risky activities in the water.
• If you see someone in trouble, immediately call for lifeguard assistance.

Remember, your safety is in your hands! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!

It is worth noting that in June, there were 98 drowning incidents in Ukraine, including 8 children.
