The KP SHEU of the Desnyanskyi district has successfully completed the development of accessibility features near the Administrative Services Center located at 29 Red Kalyny Avenue.

According to the Department of Transportation Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration, a series of tasks were carried out to ensure barrier-free access to this socially significant facility.

Specifically, over 4,500 square meters of sidewalk asphalt was restored, making pedestrian areas safer and more convenient. Barrier-free access was established to four public transport stops, with routes equipped with lowered curbs and tactile strips on Architect Mykolaiev Street and Red Kalyny Avenue.

Additionally, curbs at the stops were raised to facilitate easier boarding and alighting for passengers. A designated parking area with marked spaces for people with disabilities and their companions was also created. The underground passage at the intersection of Red Kalyny Avenue and Ronald Reagan Street was renovated, replacing old slabs with new asphalt.

The Department of Transportation Infrastructure emphasized that Kyiv is systematically working on creating barrier-free spaces. This is not just about comfort, but fundamentally about dignity, equal opportunities, and respect for every individual.
