In Kyiv, three individuals were saved during a fire extinguishing operation.

This was confirmed by the State Emergency Service.

Information about the fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district was reported today, June 29, at 1:11 PM.

The fire broke out in a five-story building on Danila Shcherbakivskyi Street in one of the apartments on the first floor.

«The fire covering an area of 8 square meters was extinguished by 1:45 PM. During the firefighting and reconnaissance, due to heavy smoke, rescuers brought three people to safety», — the State Emergency Service stated.

Authorities will now investigate the cause of the fire.
