On June 22, the NTK Stadium named after Viktor Bannikov in Kyiv will host a charity amputee football tournament titled "Match for Heroes 2.0". This event, organized by Mastercard and Oschadbank in partnership with the Ukrainian Football Association, will bring together veterans and Ukrainian football stars to raise awareness about the development of adaptive sports in Ukraine and to support fundraising for the social project "League of the Strong", which assists military personnel with amputations in returning to active life.

"Match for Heroes 2.0" is a continuation of the charity initiative by Mastercard and Oschadbank, where veterans with amputations first met on the football field with Ukrainian stars. This collaboration raised over 7.7 million UAH for sports prostheses for patients at the Superhumans Center.

This year's event will feature a tournament format following amputee football rules. Four teams will compete in two semifinals, a third-place match, and a final. Each match will consist of two halves of 20 minutes each with a 10-minute break.

More than 50 amputee football players from various regions of Ukraine will take the field. Ukrainian celebrities will also join as goalkeepers, including: Yevhen Klopotenko, Oleksandr Sydorenko (Fozzi), and others. According to amputee football rules, goalkeepers can only play with one hand, while the other will be secured in a special corset to ensure compliance with game conditions.

The "Match for Heroes 2.0" is open to the public: you can attend the tournament for free on June 22 starting at 10:30 at the NTK Stadium named after Viktor Bannikov in Kyiv. The tournament will be streamed live on the official UAF YouTube channel. It will also be broadcasted by the media service MEGOGO on the channel "MEGOGO Football First" and on the TV channel "MEGOGO SPORT" available on T2 and cable networks.
