On Wednesday morning, an incident involving gunfire occurred at a hotel in the Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv. Police quickly responded and detained the suspect, with no injuries reported among the public. It was later revealed that the shooter was an intoxicated resident from Khmelnytskyi.

Authorities confiscated the weapon for examination. The shooter has been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and is currently being questioned by investigators. He faces up to seven years in prison.
